1325908 Pressure gauges GRAVINER (COLNBROOK) Ltd 1 Oct 1970 [7 Oct 1969] 46637/70 Heading G1L In apparatus responsive to pressure differences such as for use with fire extinguishers, a spring (14) loaded plunger 12, provided at the outer end with a brightly coloured plastics member 22, is held in the inoperative position by the difference in pressures acting on the outside of a hollow flexible sleeve 30 relative to that on the inside of the sleeve 30 to cause the sleeve 30 to grip an indentation on a knob 32 on the plunger 12 but as soon as the pressure difference pass a predetermined datum the sleeve 30 releases the plunger 12 to project the member 22 to a visible position. In an alternative embodiment, Fig.3 (not shown), the plunger projects upwardly and engages an aperture formed in the bottom of a member.
