Abstract

1324252 Alloys PACIFIC TECHNICA CORP 6 July 1970 [23 Sept 1969] 32644/70 Heading C7A [Also in Division F3] A composition which is applied to the external surface of a projectile and is ignited by aerodynamic heating as the projectile passes through the air comprises:- (a) sintered depleted uranium, or; (b) a sintered composition of depleted uranium with nickel powder, or, aluminium powder, or polyletrafluoroethylene and UAl 3 , or; (c) magnesium alloyed with aluminium and zinc, or zirconium, or zirconium and thorium.
