1323667 Measuring pressure electrically VICTORY KIDDER Ltd 23 June 1972 [25 June 1971] 29925/71 Heading G1N Apparatus for measuring the pressure inside a tube 1 Fig. 1 comprises a plate 2 carrying strain gauge resistors 4a, 4b and 5a, 5b, supported on the outer surface of tube 1 by means of screws 3, whereby variations of pressure inside tube 1 distort the plate 2 to produce corresponding variations in the resistances of the strain gauges, which are measured in a bridge network.
