Abstract

1323291 Vertical slat blinds LOUVERDRAPE VERTICAL BLINDS Ltd 12 Nov 1970 [18 Dec 1969] 61794/69 Heading E1J A suspension device for a vertical slat blind comprises a worm 17 engaging a vertical axis spur gear 18 which frictionally engages a connector 27 carrying a slat. The worm and spur gear 18 are journalled in a carriage 10 slidable along a channel. A spring 30 biasses a friction collar 29 mounted on shank 28 of connector 27 into engagement with the end of the spur gear. The slats are normally rotated simultaneously by worms 17 but the friction coupling allows adjustment of one slat relative to the others.
