1322919 3-Acyl and 3-alkoxycarbonyl-5,6- dihydro-4H-pyrans BADISCHE ANILIN- & SODA-FABRIK AG 3 Dec 1970 [4 Dec 1969] 57419/70 Heading C2C Novel 3 - acyl - 5,6 - dihydro - 4H - pyrans of the formula wherein R 1 -R 5 are hydrogen or (C 1 -C 40 ) hydrocarbon radicals which may be linked to form 5- to 7-membered rings which may contain one or more oxygen atoms as hetero atoms, as well as 3 - alkoxycarbonyl - 5,6 - dihydro-4H- pyrans, i.e. compounds of the above formula, wherein R 4 is a (C 1 -C 8 ) alkoxy group, are prepared by reacting a 1,1-diacyl-but-3-ene, or 1,acyl-1-alkoxycarbonyl-but-3-ene of the formula with an acid agent (defined) at a temperature of from -100‹ to + 150‹ C.
