Abstract
1322667 Aligning mould sections HOLSTEIN & KAPPERT MASCHINENFABRIK PHOENIX GmbH 12 May 1971 [8 June 1970] 14546/71 Heading B5A Moulding apparatus having relatively displaceable mould halves also comprises a sealed envelope formed from a pair of plates joined around their edges located between at least one mould half and its carrier to absorb misalignment of the mating faces on closure and removable spacers between the envelope and the carrier. As shown, mould half 1, is screwed to mounting 2 having shanks 3, 4 with ribs 5, 6. A carrier 9 is detachably mounted on a pivot arm 10 and has ribs 7, 8 engaging those 5, 6 of mounting 2. The envelope 11 is located between mounting 2 and carrier 9 and comprises two flexible plates 13 hermetically sealed at edges 12 enclosing a cavity 14 for a pressure medium. Plates 13 are sealed from bores 15, 16 by thrust plates 17, 18. Interchangeable spacers 19 are located between ribs 5, 6 and ribs 7, 8.
