Abstract

1322364 Hinges SIEMENS AG 1 July 1970 [2 July 1969] 32022/70 Heading E2F [Also in Division F1] A cover 2, Fig. 7, of a pump housing may be connected to a base portion 1 by means of a hinge 16 moulded in one piece of plastics material and attached to the cover and base portion by means of studs 17. As shown, the studs may be provided with barbed heads. Instead, heads may be formed on the studs by heating after assembly, or adhesive or casting compound may be used. The hinge 16 may be replaced by a generally U-shaped member 10, Figs. 3 and 4, or a pair of rings (14), Figs. 5 and 6.
