Abstract

1322310 APC systems BLAUPUNKTWERKE GmbH 17 May 1972 [17 May 1971] 23277/72 Headings H3A and H3T A controlled oscillator, the frequency and phase of whose output is dependent on the phase difference between its output and a reference signal, e.g. the burst signal in colour T.V. transmission, comprises a transistor 1 in the grounded collector arrangement and having a resonant circuit 5 connected in the emitter circuit across which the output signal is derived and a frequency control element 9 connected to the base. The control voltage resulting from phase comparison with the reference signal may be applied to a variable impedance 10 connected in series with the frequency control crystal element 9 of the Pierce type of oscillator 1-9. The element 10 may be a reactance element such as a varactor or a resistor formed by a bipolar or field effect transistor, a voltage or current dependent resistor, a temperature dependent resistor or a photosensitive resistor.
