Abstract

1322198 Viewing device J JASGUR 14 Dec 1970 59330/70 Heading G2J A viewing device in which glare from light reflected by an object to be viewed is reduced by polarizing the light before and after reflection by the object, comprises a casing 50 having one face thereof first and second openings 19, 20 in which first and second polarizing means 53, 54 respectively are positioned and in other face thereof a viewing opening, the object to be viewed being illuminated by light from a curved fluorescent tube 52. The direction of polarization of the second polarizing means may be adjusted by rotation of the second means by use of a tab 56.
