Abstract

1321653 Venetian blinds GRIESSER AG 12 Aug 1970 [25 Aug 1969] 38946/70 Heading E1J A blind comprises slats 1 each with a journal 3 at one end projecting through a vertical slot of a housing 5, cross levers 6 being connected at their centres to respective journals and at their ends by pivotable links to adjacent levers 6, a member 16 being connected to the ends of the upper lever 6, and a member 17 to the lower journal 3. Chain 10 passes over a sleeve 12 coupled to a shaft 11, rotation of the shaft thus causing pivoting of the slats. Chain 17 passes over wheel 16 on the shaft 11 and around a lower wheel (not shown) and engages a driver 18 on the lower journal, so that rotation of shaft 11 lifts the slats.
