1321613 Antiseptic aerosol preparations IMPERIAL CHEMICAL INDUSTRIES Ltd 30 Sept 1970 [11 Oct 1969] 50048/69 Heading A5B [Also in Division C4] Antiseptic pharmaceutical preparations for topical application comprise povidone-iodine in the form of a dry powder in association with one or more aerosol propellents. Preferably at least one aerosol propellent has a high-boiling point in the range from 0‹C to 30‹C (e.g. CHCl 2 F, CCl 3 F, CH 2 Cl. CF 3 , CCl 2 F. CF 3 , CCl 2 F. CClF 2 or CClF 2 . CClF 2 ), and at least one has a low boiling point in the range from -20‹C to -40‹C (e.g. CHClF 2 , CCl 2 F 2 or CHF 2 .CH 3 ).
