1321404 Microbicidal composition CHEMED CORP 13 Jan 1972 [13 Jan 1971] 1727/ 72 Heading A5E A liquid, water-dispersible microbicidal composition comprises 5-25% by weight of methylene bisthiocyanate; 10-40% by weight of a dimethylamido of formula: in which R is H or a saturated or unsaturated or hydroxysubstituted alkyl radical containing 1-22 carbon atoms; and 50-85% by weight of tetrahydrofurfuryl alcohol. The compositions may be used for the control of slimes in aqueous paper mill systems and in aqueous cooling systems such as cooling towers and air washers.
