1319920 Grilling apparatus M J SHINE 19 Oct 1971 [6 Nov 1970] 48489/71 Heading A4D Food is cooked on a grill device 20 by supporting it on a plurality of spaced parallel elongate bars 27, each bar having a generally S-shaped transverse section to form a gutter (29), Fig. 2 (not shown), each gutter (29) except that of an end bar 27 underlying an upper part 28 of an adjacent bar 27 so that juices from the food pass into the gutters (29) which are longitudinally inclined to the horizontal so that juices in the gutters flow into a manifold 34 and thence via a pipe 36 into a collecting vessel. The grill device 20 is supported over a heat source, such as charcoal, and the bars may be individually removable from the grill device or may be rigidly secured to it.
