Abstract

1319319 Mountings for optical filters KOLLMORGEN CORP 6 July 1970 [4 June 1970] 32605/70 Heading G2J A mounting carrying an optical filter for disposition along a prospective optical axis comprises a hollow body part 17 adapted to receive a cylindrical filter cell 11 so that the axis of the cell B-B' is inclined with respect to the prospective optical axis, and a cylindrical filter cell 11 receiving an optical filter so that the axis of the filter A-A' is inclined with respect to the axis of the cell. The filter 10 may be cemented into the filter cell and may be a narrow-band filter. By rotating the cell, the filter can be tilted with respect to the optical axis, so altering the median wavelength passed by the filter. After adjustment to give a desired median wavelength, the cell 11 is cemented to the body part 17. (For Figure see next page)
