Abstract

1318504 One-portion packages AUGUST STORCK GmbH 19 April 1971 [16 March 1970] 24170/71 Heading A2B [Also in Divisions B5 and B8] A one portion pack comprises a container produced from a hard boiled sugar syrup by centrifugal casting, which container is closed by a lid formed from a hard boiled sugar after the contents, such as coffee, tea, cocoa, or extracts or concentrates thereof, have been inserted therein. In one form, Fig. 11, a quantity of hard boiled sugar is inserted in a mould 4 which is then spun to form the shell 9, the filling 11 is admitted and then a layer of hard boiled sugar 2 is deposited on the top of the contents of the mould to form the lid, after which the finished product is ejected. In another form, Fig. 12, two shells 13, 13' are formed by spinning in two moulds 14, 14', the lower shell is filled and thereafter the upper shell is superimposed by action of plunger 7', the finished product being finally ejected.
