1318220 Coated roller ILFORD Ltd 13 Oct 1971 [6 Nov 1970] 52973/70 Heading B2E [Also in Division G2] A driving or cleaning roller for glossy surface web material is produced by coating the curved cylindrical portion of a metal roller with a metal adhesive, applying a coating of a polyvinyl chloride based plastisol to the adhesive coated portion of the roller, heating the roller to cure the plastisol, removing the excess solid plastisol to obtain a uniform cylindrical plastisol coating on the metal roller and heating the surface of the plastisol coating to produce a glossy surface.
