In addition, instead of having a number of moulds fixedly arranged in an arc about a centre axis, the moulds may be mounted on a rotatable annular table, the injection mechanism being fixedly mounted either inside or outside the table, final movement prior to each injection being either of the injection mechanism towards a mould or of a mould towards the injection mechanism. Alternatively the moulds may be arranged in a straight line, the injection mechanism being movable from one mould to the next.
