Abstract
1316027 Phosphoroamidothionates BAYER AG 21 Oct 1971 [22 Oct 1970] 48943/71 Heading C2P The invention comprises compounds of Formula I where R<SP>1</SP> is C 1-6 alkyl, R<SP>2</SP> is C 1-6 alkyl or is cycloalkyl or phenylalkyl, X is halogen and n is 0, 1 or 2 (except the compound O-n-propyl-O-(2- cyano - 4 - chlorophenyl) - N - isobutylamidophosphorothionate), which may be prepared (a) by reacting an O-R<SP>1</SP>-N-R<SP>2</SP>- amidothionophosphoric acid ester halide with a suitable phenol or ammonium or metal salt thereof, (b) by reacting a suitable O-R<SP>1</SP>-O- substituted phenylthionophosphoric acid ester halide with an amine R<SP>2</SP>NH 2 or (c) by reacting a suitable O - substituted phenyl - N - R<SP>2</SP> - amidothionophosphoric acid ester halide with a compound MOR<SP>1</SP> where M is hydrogen, ammonium or a metal. The compounds of Formula I have herbicidal properties and may be used as the active ingredients in conventional herbicidal compositions, optionally together with insecticides, acaricides, nematocides, antivirus agents, plant-growth modifiers, attractants, fertilizers or other herbicides.
