Abstract

1315590 Foot support HUGH STEEPER (ROEHAMPTON) Ltd 29 Nov 1971 [26 Jan 1971] 3199/71 Heading A5R A foot support, for releasable attachment to a shoe and to the leg of a person who wears the foot support, comprises an adjustable clamp 12 having clamping members 22, 24 to grip the welt of a shoe between them and a bracket 10 extending from the clamp and provided at an end remote from the clamp 12 with releasable fastening means 14 comprising releasably adhering straps 40, 42 for fastening that end to the leg of the wearer. The clamp 12 includes a pair of. internally screw-threaded studs through which passes a metal or synthetic plastics rod 16, forming the bracket 10. The studs 18, 20 are moved towards and away from each other by a double-ended screw 26 having left- and right-handed threads 28, 30, the screw 26 being rotated by a rod or spike (not shown) inserted in holes 32 in the central section of the screw 26.
