Abstract

1313005 Hydrogenation catalysts AMERICAN CYANAMID CO 22 June 1970 [18 July 1969] 30226/70 Heading B1E [Also in Division C5] Catalysts are prepared by submerging with agitation a calcined alumina or silica-alumina carrier in at least the amount required to saturate the pores therein of a phosphoric acid solution of salts of molybdenum or tungsten and cobalt or nickel and calcining the impregnated carrier to form the appropriate metal oxides. The submerging is for 1/4-3 hours.
