Abstract

1311530 Boxes and cases SECURE SAFES (COVENTRY) Ltd 13 Aug 1971 [4 Sept 1970] 42348/70 Heading B8P [Also in Divisions E1-E2] A safe, preferably located in a floor 16, consists of a lining 10 having two doors 13, 14, a cover 15 and a container 30 therein consisting of a series of canisters 31 interconnected together for withdrawal as a common unit. The containers may be made of aluminium and the screw-threaded cover of a lowermost canister may be connected by rivets, bolts, screws or adhesive to the base of an uppermost canister having a handle 35 as shown. Again, the lowermost canister may have a screw-threaded spindle whereby a column of canisters may be mounted thereon and clamped in position with the interposition of sealing gaskets by a nut engaging a top cover-plate, see Fig. 3 (not shown). In a further modification, wherein the canisters may be made of plastics or metal, they are mounted in superimposed relationship on a platform carried by a wire cradle, see Fig. 5 (not shown).
