Abstract

1311161 Mounting rotors of dynamo-electric machines ROBERT BOSCH GmbH 31 March 1970 [27 March 1969] 15112/70 Heading H2A [Also in Division F2] A bearing 25 of an electric motor is mounted in a resilient sleeve 22 which may be made from oil-resistant and grease resistant rubber. The bearing 25 supports a shaft 13 of the motor, is pressed into a bore 23 of the sleeve 22, has an outer race abutting a flange 17 of a steel bush 15, and is sealed by means of a bearing plate 14 which supports the steel bush 15. A labyrinth seal 21 is formed by a member 20 having an annular groove, and a collar 19 of the bush 15. The resilient sleeve 22 has an outer flange 24 which is received in a relieved portion 18 of the steel bush 15 so as to lock the sleeve 22 and bush 15 together. The bearing plate 14 is mounted within a sleeve 6 of synthetic plastics material, the latter having the motor therein and being mounted within a housing 1. The shaft 13 is also supported by means of a bearing 46, the latter being mounted in a rubber sleeve 42 having an outer flange 43 which engages into a recess 33 in a steel bush 31. The flange 43 is retained between a spring-ring 44, inserted into the recess 33, and a flange 34 of the steel bush 31. The bush 31 is carried by a member 28 of synthetic plastics material which is mounted in the housing 1. A felt seal 38 is provided.
