Abstract

1310027 Photographic exposure control POLAROID CORP 29 June 1970 [30 June 1969] 31408/70 Heading G2A An exposure control mechanism has two electromagnets 124, 126 with associated armatures 120, 122 and a master actuator 70 movable in a first direction to manoeuver the armatures into engagement with their respective electromagnets, the value of a first photographic function, e.g. diaphragm aperture, being determined by the instant at which a first of the electromagnets is de-energized after movement of the master actuator in a second direction, and the value of a second photographic function, e.g. exposure time, being determined by the instant at which the second electromagnet is de-energized after deenergization of the first electromagnet. The shutter blades operate as described in Specification 1310026, and the diaphragm blades 20, 22 operate as described in Specification 1310028. The shutter blades, diaphragm blades and master actuators are reset after exposure by a member 390 reciprocably driven by a motor 360 via reduction gearing and a spooling cam.
