Abstract

1308419 Hot plates; Bread toasters NOUVEAUX APPAREILLAGES PRATIQUES HOLDING SA 15 Oct 1971 [23 June 1971] 48119/71 Heading A4D [Also in Division H5] A heating probe for toasting the inside of hot dog buns, comprises a metal case 5 surrounded by a thin layer of heat resistant plastics material 4 and having a metallic core 6, friction mounted in the case, containing a heating element 8 embedded in refractory material, a space 12 being left in the nose of the case. A groove 9 in the core surface carries a thermostatic probe 10 which may be a liquid filled metal tube connected to suitable actuating means. Four probes are mounted by screw threads 11 into holes 3 in a base 1 having a hot plate 2, the probes being connected together electrically in parallel. The plastics film may be of material sold as Teflon (Registered trade mark).
