Abstract
1307533 Fluid regulation DUNLOP HOLDINGS Ltd 6 July 1970 [15 Jan 1970] 2001/70 Heading G3H A pressure reducing device, which is interposed between an inlet 10 and an outlet 11, comprises a relatively fine pore outer baffle 30 and a relatively coarse pore inner baffle 31. The baffles are housed in, and sealed relative to a tube 33. Alternatively, the external surface of the baffle construction may be coated with a laminate of aluminium foil and a plastics material or with a glass - reinforced plastics material. The baffle portions may be integral or independent, in the latter of which cases the portions may be in mutual contact or spaced apart. The outer baffle may be formed of superimposed discs. Materials said to be suitable for constructing the baffles are layers of gauze, expanded metal, sintered metal, ceramic foams, and rigidified plastics foams.
