Abstract

1307514 Hydraulic actuators KEELAVITE HYDRAULICS Ltd 16 April 1970 [17 Jan 1969] 2892/69 Heading F1D A double-acting hydraulic piston and cylinder device 1b, 1a for moving a load M 1 and mounted on a base 3 is connected in parallel with an in line double-acting piston and cylinder 2b, 2a also mounted on the base 3 and moving a balancing load M 2 in the direction opposite to that of movement of M 1 whereby the inertia force of M 1 acting on the base is balanced by that of M 2 irrespective of the direction of movement of M 1 . As shown adjacent ends of piston rods 1c, 2c are connected by lazy tongues 9 having an odd number of centre line pivots the middle one of which is held fixed at 12.
