1306728 Screws for discharging hoppers J-P TAUPIN 10 June 1970 [18 June 1969] 28103/70 Heading B8S Powder is fed along a pipe 4 from a hopper 1 by a helical spring 5 and is agitated by a second spring 9 which is rotated at a lower speed than the spring 5. As described, the spring 9 rotates in the opposite direction to the spring 5 but both springs may be rotated in the same direction. More than one agitating spring may be provided.
