Abstract
1305846 Metals containing dispersions INTERNATIONAL NICKEL Ltd 6 July 1971 [6 July 1970] 31722/71 Heading C7D Particles of a material are dispersed in a metal melt in which the material is insoluble by coating the particles to render them wettable, dispersing them in the metal by mean of a vortex generated in it, and solidifying the metal. The coating may be Ni, Cu, Fe, Zn, Co, Al, Si, Sn, Mo, Cr, Sb,W oran alloy thereof. The material may be graphite or an oxide, carbide, nitride or boride. The metal may be Al, Si, Cu, Mg, Zn, Pb, Sn, Ni, or alloy thereof. The particles may be introduced in a protective atmosphere.
