1304632 Shoots; endess conveyers R F LUKE (STRUCTURAL STEELWORK) Ltd 9 Feb 1971 4248/71 Heading B8A A loading station or transfer point for transversely loading a belt conveyer 9 from a first conveyer 16, comprises a trough shaped support 8 for a length of the belt conveyer at the area at which loading is being effected, the conveyer 9 conforming to the contour of the support 8, which is secured to the conveyer framework, and a deflector plate 7 extending the length of the loading area and located at the side of the belt conveyer framework opposite to that from which loading is being effected. As shown, the shield 7 is secured to the support 8 and to stringers 2 of the conveyer framework. A deflector plate is attached to the inside of the shield 7.
