Frames and framing; floats for aerial machines. -The framework of a flying-boat consists of a central longitudinal compression boom A and polygonal transverse frames B connected to the boom by radial spokes D. The corners of the frames B are connected by longitudinal and crossed diagonal tension wires I<1>, I<2> and J<1>, J<2>. The external sheeting or plating C may be of wood or fabric, but it is preferably of metal supported between the frames B by wood fillets F pressed on the inner side by metallic tape. Skates L are supported by several of the frames B.
