Abstract

1303462 Transistor gates SIEMENS AG 9 Nov 1970 [7 Nov 1969] 53166/70 Heading H3T A gating circuit comprises two transistors T1, T2 with their emitter collector paths connected in antiparallel between two terminals CD, and separate diodes connecting each collector and each emitter to a common point F, the diodes being poled such that each conducts in the same sense as its associated emitter-base or collectorbase junction, and the impedance of each matching that of its associated junction. Four individual diodes may be used, Fig. 2 (not shown), or, more preferably, Fig. 5, the collectorbase and emitter-base diodes of two further transistors T3, T4 may be used. Transistors T1, T2 are normally biased off by constant current sources comprising voltage sources U1, U2 and resistors R1, R2, R3 and are turned on by applying control signals U3, U4 via diodestrapped transistors T5, T6, T7. The gate is used as a coupling element for a magnetic memory store matrix, Fig. 1 (not shown).
