1302799 Feeding record tapes NEWELL INDUSTRIES Inc 26 Oct 1970 [3 Nov 1969] 57400/71 Divided out of 1302797 Heading G5R A roll 25 of tape 28 is formed about a hub assembly 29 which is rotatably mounted in a cassette 39 together with braking means individual to the tape roll for restraining its rotation during withdrawal of tape from the cassette. As shown, the braking means consists of a brake drum 42 having two coaxial cylindrical surfaces 43, 44 encircled respectively by two coil-springs 46, 47 of which the inner has one end 46a secured to a wall 37 of the cassette while the outer spring 47 has one end 47a secured to the hub.
