1302795 Oil-in-water pesticidal compositions SHELL INTERNATIONALE RESEARCH MAATSCHAPPIJ NV 15 July 1970 [17 July 1969] 34360/70 Heading ASE A stable, flowable, water-dispersable oil-inwater pesticidal composition comprises (a) a continuous phase containing water; (b) a disperse phase containing (1) 25-60%w of a finely divided pesticide (as defined) having a solubility in water and hydrocarbon oils of less than 1%, coated with 8-25%w of a highly refined hydrocarbon mineral oil (as defined) and (2) 0-25%w of a finely divided attapulgite clay; and (c) an emulsifying system comprising (1) 1-10%w of a water-soluble non-ionic surfactant; (2) 0-10%w of an oil-soluble anionic surfactant and (3) 0-10%w of a desugared sodium lignin sulphonate.
