1302169 Pharmaceutical compositions containing paracetamol and oxyphenbutazone CIBA-GEIGY AG 30 Nov 1970 [1 Dec 1969] 56761/70 Heading A5B Pharmaceutical compositions having antiphlogistic, analgesic and antipyretic activity for the treatment of inflammatory diseases and conditions comprise from 1 to 5 parts by weight of paracetamol (p-hydroxyacetanilide) per part by weight of oxyphenbutazone (4-butyl-1-(phydroxyphenyl)-2-phenyl-3,5-pyrazolidinedione) in combination with a pharmaceutically acceptable diluent or carrier therefore. The compositions may be administered orally or rectally in the form of tablets, dragÚes, capsules or suppositories.
