1300851 Eradication of ticks ICI AUSTRALIA Ltd 30 Dec 1970 [14 Jan 1970] 61810/70 Heading A5E A method of eradicating Boophilus microplus comprises applying to the habitat thereof a substituted pyridine of formula: wherein (i) R 1 and R 3 are fluorine, chlorine; alkoxy, arylalkoxy, mercapto, hydroxy, arylsulphonyloxy, amido, sulphonamido, amino or substituted amino; (ii) R 2 , R 4 and R, are fluorine or chlorine, at least one of R 1 , R 2 , R 3 , R 4 and R 5 being a fluorine atom.
