Abstract

1300103 Brackets ITW Ltd 2 July 1970 [2 July 1969] 33474/69 Heading A4B [Also in Division E2] In an integrally moulded bracket of plastics material for attachment to a surface, the bracket has two main portions linked by a flexible hinge portion 16, the main portions being a base 2 for overlying the surface, and an arm 8, or arms, as shown, Fig. 2, which is shaped so that when the base overlies the surface, the arm is confined in one position by engagement of one side 26 of the arm with the surface, and of the other side 28 with the base. The bracket, in position is shown in Fig.4. The bracket may be attached to surface 4 by bifurcated stud 6 which passes through a hole in the surface, piece 24, which is initially attached to the base by only a small piece of plastics, being driven into a hole in stud which tapers towards the free end. Arms 8 are formed with holes suitable to receive tubes, and may have a recess which is almost enclosed by two fingers which are coplanar with the two surfaces of the arm.
