Abstract

1299464 Abrading SWECO Inc 18 May 1970 [19 May 1969] 33012/72 Divided out of 1299461 Heading B3D [Also in Division B8] The subject-matter of the present Specification is included in that of Specification 1,299,461 and the claims are directed to a hoist pan for use in a material handling system for a mill to dump material into the chamber of the mill, the hoist pan comprising a substantially cylindrical housing, a central core member, a plurality of arms interconnecting the housing and core member, and a pair of hinged bottom segments which are retained centrally on the core member, the segments normally being retained also at the outer edges thereof by the housing but being releasable and movable to a position to dump the contents of the hoist pan.
