1297586 Drive spindles SUMLOCK ANITA ELECTRONICS Ltd 24 March 1971 7737/71 Heading G5R A spindle 8 has protrusions 20 which cooperate with lugs 21 on the hub 7 of a reel 2 in order to drive the reel. The protrusions are provided with sloping upper surfaces 22 to facilitate loading of the reel on to the spindle, and an enlarged portion 29 of the spindle is of such size that it will pass through the cover 30 of a cassette and so support the lugs 21 and reel 2.
