1297333 Table game with moveable players MI GLASS [trading as MARVIN GLASS & ASSOCIATES] 27 May 1971 [1 June 1970] 17537/71 Heading A6H Apparatus for playing a table hockey game wherein simulated player elements are manipulated by the players to move a playing piece, the players being movably mounted on the playing surface for to and fro end to end movement along the playing surface, is characterised in that a player control assembly 214 comprises a master player control member connected by a first actuating link member 166 to a player element 146 mounted proximate to the control member and a second actuating link 164 operably connected to the first link and connected with a second player element 144 mounted in the playing surface distal from the control member. The control assembly 214 is movable in a slot 244 and movement-amplifying levers 274, 258 are provided to enable full movement of the player elements along slots 94, 96 for a limited movement of control assembly 214 in its slot 244. In addition the apparatus is provided with a timekeeping device and associated audible signal means as well as audible signal means to indicate the score of a goal. A housing 300 is provided at the side of the playing surface and houses two discs 338, 340 which are moved by hand to show the score 346, 348 in openings 350, 352. A lever 324 is movable by hand to drop the playing piece into the centre of the playing surface. A goal keeper 44 is provided at each end and is moved across the goal 34 by knob 50. A link 54 is connected to a member which lies across the front of the goal mouth and is moved rearwardly by the playing piece as a goal is scored to close contacts 626 to sound an audible signal. The link being reset in a forward position by means of a knob 54e. The timer device switches on a motor at the end of a designated time period, the motor being provided with pinions which strike an element to give a loud audible clicking sound.
