Abstract

1297204 Packaged pigment BRITISH TITAN Ltd 15 Oct 1971 [29 Oct 1970] 51368/70 Heading C4A [Also in Division B8] Pigment is packaged in a wrapping formed of material soluble in a liquid vehicle in which the pigment is to be incorporated. The liquid vehicle may be water in which case the wrapping is formed from polyvinyl alcohol, or the liquid vehicle may be an organic medium in which case the wrapping is formed from polystyrene. The pigment may be titanium dioxide. The pigment package may be added to a mill base containing a paint binder, solvent &c. and milled until the wrapping is dissolved.
