Abstract

1296594 Spy-holes STEELES (CONTRACTORS) Ltd 11 June 1971 [15 June 1970] 28936/ 70 Heading E1J A panel comprises three parallel sheets having transparent' areas and positioned in a frame 1 of U-section, spacers (5) on the frame extending between the outer sheets 10, 11, and a cam 13 for sliding the centre sheet 12 between the outer sheets. The centre and one outer sheet have alternate opaque and transparent strips so that movement of the centre sheet may obscure vision through the panel. The centre panel slides on the free ends of spacers (5, Fig. 1, not shown) on side frame elements (1a) and is biassed downwardly by springs (7) on top element (1b) into engagement with stops (9) on the lower frame element (1c). Cam 13 engages stops (8) on element (1c) and is rotatable to lift the centre panel by a shaft (15) which extends through the outer sheets and carries levers 14.
