Syringes and the like.-In that class of one operation-injection apparatus in which a needle is secured to a collapsible reservoir, the contents of which are rendered available by the piercing of a diaphragm by a stylet carried by a protective hood, this hood is secured in place by a strip w<3> of flexible metal or the like, wound round it and fitting into a groove r in the head of the reservoir. Or a plain band may be used instead of the wound strip.
