1295735 Gas-scrubber CHEMICAL CONSTRUCTION CORP 11 June 1970 28438/70 Heading B1R Gas-scrubber comprises a casing with an inverted frusto-conical section 34, a baffle 16 of conical shape mounted axially within section 34 and vertically movable. Liquid being supplied to the baffle 16 from a pipe 12 and at point above, section 34 from tangentially directed nozzles 33. Baffle 16 has a lower frusto conical portion 20 and is mounted on a shaft 17 movable by a hand-wheel.
