Abstract

1295199 Threshing machine DEERE & CO 19 April 1971 [20 March 1970] 24681/71 Heading A1F The machine has a tilting feed table 5 beneath the threshing cylinder 1, the tilting being made possible by means of a lever system 14-19b. The tilt of the feed table 5 is altered by means of the hand lever 15; when in position B the table is brought down for cleaning purposes. The tilting occurs about the pivot 11 at the rear end on the table 5. The tilting provides for easier cleaning operations to be carried out from the inlet end of the feed table 5, and makes it possible for the stone guard 20 to be swung down through the angle 25 for easy access. The conveyor 3 can also be moved through the angle 26 in order to increase the gap between the feed table 5 and conveyor 3 at the inlet end of the feed table 5.
