Abstract

1294138 Ingot moulds FOSECO TRADING AG 24 June 1970 [30 June 1969] 32956/69 Heading B3F [Also in Division C3] A hot tap for an ingot mould 2 or head-box is formed by lining the mould or head-box with at least two sheets 3 of a flexible material which extend around the corners of the mould or headbox. To facilitate bending of the sheets 3 indentations 4 are provided at the positions on the sheet where corners are to be made. If necessary wedges (not shown) can be placed between the sheets to hold them in an ingot mould or headbox.
