Abstract

1293858 Magnetic fasteners HOZ-PIN CORP 8 June 1970 27701/70 Heading E2A A magnetic garment supporting device for use in drying light-weight articles of clothing comprises a laminated flexible strap of two layers, a water-proof pocket formed in each end portion between the layers, a magnet contained in one pocket and magnetically attractable means in the other pocket. The strap 4 with enlarged end portions 5, 6 comprises an outer cover 9 and an inner liner 10 made of plastics material and heat sealed together with a magnet 7 contained between the layers of one end portion 6 and a ferrous plug 8 at the other end portion 5. The strap is bendable about score 11 to suspend it from a rod 2 the end portions being magnetically attracted to clamp an article therebetween. The outer surface of the liner may be embossed.
