Abstract

1293351 Carding cylinders LING WEI TSING 15 Jan 1970 [21 Jan 1969] 3402/69 Heading D1N A card cylinder, and preferably the doffer cylinder, is wound with toothed wire in a series of parallel rings with the wire being seated in annular grooves. Each adjacent pair of annular grooves is connected by a cross passage 7 which serves as a shunt for the passage of the toothed wire from one annular groove to the next. The rings of toothed wire on the doffer and card cylinder may interchange. The teeth on the wire in the cross passage 7 can be removed.
