1293200 Plastics hose IMPERIAL CHEMICAL INDUSTRIES Ltd 13 July 1971 [17 July 1970] 34801/70 Heading F2P In a hose composed of elastomeric material incorporating reinforcing elements, the latter comprise yarns composed of continuous monofilaments each yarn having a device in the range of 1000 to 10,000 and up to 4 turns per inch twist and each monofilament having a device in the range 100 to 1500 and a tenacity of at least 6 grams/denier. The elastomeric material is preferably a natural or synthetic rubber and the monofilaments are preferably of a polyester, copolyester, polyamide or copolyamide.
