Abstract

1292997 Cable trays ASSOCIATED PERFORATORS & WEAVERS Ltd 1 June 1971 [7 May 1970] 21979/70 Heading H2C A cable tray of metal, e.g. mild steel, or plastics comprises a base 10 and side walls 12, 14 which define a slightly tapering channel. The side walls are provided at the broader end 20 of the channel with doubled-back flanges which define U-shaped slots 18, so that portions 24, 26 of the side walls at the narrower end 22 of a similar tray can be inserted in the slots 18, such insertion being limited by ends 34 of the flanges engaging the ends 32 of the flanges of the similar tray. The base 10 is performed with diamond-shaped apertures 16 by means of which adjacent trays may be bolted together. Specification 1,154,941 is referred to.
