Abstract

1290447 Electro-photographic developer ILFORD Ltd 19 April 1971 [10 Feb 1970 29 Sept 1970] 6399/70 and 46292/70 Heading G2H An electro-photographic liquid developer comprising a suspension of charged pigment particles in an inert liquid carrier contains dispersed 12- hydroxystearin which improves image density. The developer may also contain an oil, metal salt, resin and/or antioxidant. In the Example the developer consists of a predispersed black pigment, an alkyd resin based on castor oil, ferric stearate, and 12-hydroxystearin in odourless paraffin.
